Does anyone know how to get a pet in tamagotchi version 5? I look at growth charts and it shows pets and i want to know how to get one!!!!!

I used that about 4 times then my tama had a baby and i tried to use the cheat with the kids but i cant use it anymore does it have a certain amount of times you can use it?

I once took mine to Utah for a month and I take my Tamagotchi shopping and I ttake it just about anywhere.
