Honestly, Friends is probably my least favourite tamagotchi in my collection for mostly these reasons. The "Bump" feature is really cool but if you don't have another tama to bump with, it's pretty useless.

I thought that might be the case to be honest. I've seen more threads on here about this issue so I already assumed that this was a stupid mistake on Bandai's behalf. I'll try cleaning the buttons but yeah, I do think that it could just be a manufacturing mistake.

Drop Catch is always a great source of entertainment. I enjoyed Select Get on the Tamagotchi Friends, despite not having a clue how to play when I first got my tama. I thought that all features in the V5 were awesome, especially the use of the "Travel Channel" as oppose to the normal "Pause"...
