From what I've seen your best (possibly only) bet is ebay as you mentioned. I haven't seen any old tamagotchis in stores, angel, or ocean or anything.

The matchmaker for two of my tamagotchis usually came around 10:45am, then 3:30pm, and then 7:30pm (one connection one connexion)

My male Robotchi ate his in like 4-5 bites. My mimitchi took 3 bites and it was a male. I don't think it's gender related.

When two tamagotchis mate, the babies the female gives birth to are twins of the same sex. They WON'T give birth to one boy one girl. Each generation though, whether you have two boys or two girls, now THAT is random.

My Connection didn't come with a spare and it's going pretty strong, it's on it's 5th generation of tamagotchis, I think in like 3 or 4 days it'll be a month since i had it.

It has no effect. How you take care of the baby after the parent leaves determines the type of tama you get and end up with.

Yeah, the reset button will....well reset it hehe. Unless you decide not to and click "download" then you'll have your boy again of Gen2. So yes if you reset it totally .... you're starting back to Generation 1 :)

Has anyone ever left the light on after they fell asleep? Does it do anything like make them angry, wake them up after awhile, etc.,...? Like if you left the light on overnight hehe. I think I did that with my Gen1 and 2 and it didn't have any effects, but I can't remember it's been years.

I doubt it can harm anyone, the IR, but they might be taking precautions and writing down as many warnings as they can, in case some pesky person decides to sue them for something ridiculous. Maybe they mean don't throw it at someone? *shrug*
