For the most part, it behaves, but there have been at least three times the backdrop changed or my tamagotchi is asleep and I check the time on it and it's not what it's supposed to be.

I've noticed a few times when I go to the clock on my ID L that the date and time have changed randomly. Is this supposed to be happening? For example today is March 8, but somehow it was May 15 on it and my Mametchi had a birthday backdrop.

Definitely cheap on Amazon. I was in Japan recently, and the 4U and 4U+ are retailing for about 6500 yen.

Bandai has definitely marketed the Tamagotchi more for girls, but there's nothing wrong with guys liking it :)

Haha! It was in Tokyo Station! The Tamagotchi store in Tokyo Station wasn't very big. There's another one in Harajuku but I didn't go to that one. I'm planning on enjoying my time around here talking about my new Tama!
