    Unlocking m!x content with Meets/On

Darn, that's a shame. Thanks again for the help.

    Tamagotchi Pix?

At the very least, it will definitely mean the product will be marketed towards the 13-16 range to comply with GDPR in Europe (and if it launches in the US, COPPA). I don't recall any user security leaks from Bandai at the very least and they operate a number of online services in Japan...

    Unlocking m!x content with Meets/On

Thank you, I was having trouble finding past posts with the search function. Is the English On incompatible with the Japanese m!x, then?

    Tamagotchi Pix?

It's an interesting idea, and not at all what I expected. I do wonder if the ~100 USD price will ward off potential buyers, but a Tamagotchi that hinges primarily around social networking is intruiging.  edit: Thinking about this a little more, I think the angle here is definetly a...

    Unlocking m!x content with Meets/On

Hey all! Been quite a few years since I last posted here but it's good to be back. So, I'm curious -- I have a Tamagotchi m!x that I'd love to get the rest of the content unlocked for (the mermaid area and by extension the ninja area), but I haven't purchased another m!x. If I were to buy a...

    whitehat ruins tamagotchi

Whitehat Ruins Tamagotchi A log spacey m!x- day 1 and 2 It arrived. There was no question as to what was in the package. The Japanese was enough of a giveaway. My first surprise was the size. M!X is tiny compared to the TamaTown and Friends! The device in general is fairly slim- the flat...

    Tamagotchi 20th.com?

You have to remember the differences between consumer markets in the West and East. Tamagotchi was a completely viable long-term investment for companies in Japan and it's honestly a miracle that it became so popular here in the US and UK! But the market has changed since the 90's and I don't...

    Furby Connect Bluetooth Hacking

I don't have one either, but I've been experimenting with it's predecessors. :) As for the debug, as far as possible. The eyes aren't actually horribly difficult to read if you hold him upright. Jeija's GitHub page has information in /Docs/ about the individual features.

    Tamagotchi 20th.com?

I like the physical devices as well. There's something so much more organic about holding the device in your hand. To me, it seems more real. But the majority of the consumer market doesn't feel the same way. I don't see there being another western release anytime soon- not after how badly...

    Furby Connect Bluetooth Hacking

One of my acquaintances, Jeija, has been experimenting with the Bluetooth functionality of the Connect, and he's found some pretty interesting stuff! Here's the YT video he made detailing the debug mode featured: //www.tamatalk.com/IB/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png This may seem...

What do you guys think about Tamagotchi friends?

I like Friends in terms of variety. It's much too easy, though, and I wish it was a little more gender-neutral. I've never been into the super-girly stuff. I keep my TamaTown for this reason only. I've never tried the DreamTown. A shame it didn't make it to stores.

    Hey, TamaTalk!

Hey there, TamaTalk! I'm whitehat, pleased to meet you all. I discovered Tamagotchi as a young kid surfing the Internet through a Kindle late at night. I stumbled upon mimitchi.com and instantly became fascinated with robotics and electronics... since then I have borrowed a Sony AIBO, owned...
