The Vast Depths of the Metaverse...
Hey everyone! So recently I've been getting into NFT/blockchain and crypto based games. Wondering if anyone else plays these as well. The games I play are Blankos Block Party (click here), Crusaders of Crypto (click here), and Pipeflare (click here). Blankos is an MMO where you can build your own levels, and play other people's with your friends, or just hang out in the Junction. Crusaders of crypto is a classic roguelike game, but unfortunately it isn't multiplayer. Pipeflare is one of the newer ones for me. It is an online gaming community with several fun games (one is multiplayer) with weekly leaderboard competitions, and monthly referral competitions. Winners of either competitions receive crypto prizes. They also have crypto airdrops, and an NFT marketplace where you can buy accesories and boosters for the games, or even mint your own NFTs to make money! Needless to say, it has great potential. Check out these games! The links are in the post. Let me know what you think of them or if you already play one of these games. Thanks!

I would advise everyone to be very careful regarding such things - cryptocurrencies and the very dodgy-looking non-fungible token markets are entirely unregulated in most, if not all, countries, and you can lose out big-time by taking risks on them.
I totally agree! DISCLAIMER: None of this thread constitutes financial/investment advice. I am simply sharing which of these type of games I enjoy. Thanks!

I play Lost Relics and recently got an Axie Infinity scholarship, so I've been playing that. The PVP is fun but the PVE is a huge drag once you've leveled up a little. I tried playing Nine Chronicles but it was super jank. And then TownStar was cool but way too hard for me XD

I got one through a friend of mine who became a mid-manager for his manager lmao. He's actually looking for new scholars right now, I'll let you know the deets in a PM in case you're interested. You'll have to be willing to invest ~2 hours a day in the game every day though.

Sounds good! The only issue is I only have like 2 hours a week😬

I started up playing Million on Mars: Land Rush. Very simple and only takes a minute or two to play every 4 hours (if you even want to do it that much). Cute game, I'm enjoying it.

What do you think of the meta universes, I'm talking about games. Has anyone tried it?

Looks neat! I'll look into it. I'm not a huge fan of the WAX Blockchain though. Blankos Block Party announced they're building an ETH bridge this week👍
I really recommend checking out that game!

Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT is starting service tomorrow! I played the original RL and it's a lot of fun, this is just going to be a blockchain version of the game ^^ Looking forward to it.

Anyone trying out that SHiBGOTCHi thing that's being advertised on this site? It seems to be a Telegram game and I'm too lazy to download Telegram again XD But if anyone tries it out, I'd like to know what it's like.

I know they've officially sponsored and all, and maybe this would be considered dissent but I still have a large distrust towards anything NFT or Crypto currency related. Even vaguely related to it.
Also doesn't help that the SHiBGOTCHi has a bunch of "likes" all coming from the same IP address as the Sponsor's Account. Just feels manipulative to me.

@Angotcha & @Penguin-keeper any thoughts? Because that would be in violation of the site's rules at least once upon a time.

I have been curious about the SHiBGOTCHi... Was there an announcement/more info that I missed?

If you're dissenting, buddy, then so'm I, and I'm fine with saying that here. Considering the high level of scams and other crimes relating to NFTs, and considering that said market is a pyramid/Ponzi scheme that's currently in the middle of collapsing, there's never been any reason to trust it, and there's now less reasons than ever. You probably already extrapolated my view from my earlier post in this very thread, though.

Here's just one example of the sorts of problems that are commonplace, and there've been more events since this video was posted a month ago;

I'm sure that we all remember when the $5 pocket-money plush Beanie Babies were the currency/investment of the future, too, not to mention how so many people lost everything when that bubble burst. This is the exact same thing. (Recommended reading for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, since I'm giving the benefit of the doubt here and assuming that people have learned from history and aren't willfully ignoring it: The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute, by Zac Bissonnette.)

I'm with you on this one, Nazo. There's nothing more that I can add.

its been a while since i've been here so hearing about the presence of nft stuff is concerning, i get that tamatalk afaik relies on ads and donations to survive but my distrust for nft's is very large considering the amount of art thats been stolen from artists both alive and deceased.. i dont feel good about it, especially since SHiBGOTCHI has no updates or anything leading me to personally believe its scam given how nazo pointed out that the likes the post has are all from the same ip address as the sponsors. it just wreaks of bad idea.
