My DS broke I'm trying to get a new one. I have 2 copies of Nintendogs dachshund and friends one is from Europe and one from USA. I didn't know that I had the Europe and that was my first copy I got the USA version as a gift. Go feed your Nintendogs it's been a long time!

I still play my Nintendogs Dachsund and friends! I also have one of the nintendogs + cats games for the 3ds, but I'm not a huge fan of it, it's just way too much work and I don't see how it's supposed to be for children. I'm an adult and it's still too difficult lol

The original Nintendogs for the DS had much more interesting mechanics and progression than the 3DS sequel did, so my feelings are similar here - the 3DS title just didn't have the staying-power of the original.

I had Labrador & Friends back in the day - it was the localised version of what was released in Japan as Shiba & Friends, and though it still had the Shiba Inu included, they changed the name and cover-dog to a breed that was better known outside of Japan. 🐕

I was grinding on agility trial championships I was Richie Rich without the outer space house cuz I never got enough. I have the beach house on my second copy

I can't remember if I had Lab & Friends or Dachsund & Friends. I got one and my friend got the other. I also had one of the Nintendogs+Cats (my Pink 3DS came with it) but I didn't like it as much for the same reasons you've mentioned.

I actually went to a mall tour where there was a meetup for Nintendogs players the trade items and meet others' dogs. It was really fun! My friend and I actually went to multiple malls (we had to drive quite a way XD) to visit the booth multiple times XD There was some other stuff at the mall tour, too, like a Dragon Quest VIII booth and some kind of live concert and stuff, so it wasn't JUST Nintendogs that we got to see :)
