I have a simple solution but it's not guaranteed to work so I hope this helps. I had a pocket neopet that was acting weird with strange beeps and sounds... The solution to stop this is to simply change the battery. This could work with your tamagotchi but you'll lose your pet and have to start...

Ive just got a transparent pink Connexion ver.2 and its evolved into a little yu-fotchi so far. Every time i look at it it makes me smile 'cos its so cute looking! :blink:
