I don't have the app for the 4U or 4U+, but I personally like the vanilla 4U+ better than the 4U. I think the colors (external on the shell and the LED artwork) to be more charming, and the animations on both are my favorite from all Tama devices. It's a pretty simple, but very cute Tamagotchi.

I'm not against it having NFC, but I hope it includes a larger set of devices compatible with it. Otherwise, I'm really stoked for it!!! I hope there are a few new cute characters. :wub:

Does anyone know if he 4U+ plus will be able to connect with just the regular 4U? There are pictures of the 4U at the bottom of the tamaotchi channel site, but I cannot read anything about it.

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to select the "Away" function on the door icon and select a building (not the music school building) to play a mini-game and earn gotchipoints. Then you can purchase food at the shop. ^_^

For whatever reason, I'm able to connect my 4U when touching the back of my phone- on any screen, not just the download one- but it won't connect when I select the app icon on the 4U. It does this with both Mr. Blinky's English app and also the Japanese one (I'm not sure if it's the official...

I was going to experiment with the different types of characters you can get of the TF by gaining weight, but I want to make sure I won't accidentally kill it by feeding it multiple gallons of milk. :unsure:

I had asked my mom (who was trying to sleep and very grumpy because of the lack of it) to help me get the batteries out of my Tama-Go. She was forceful with a screwdriver and now there's a tiny dent in the plastic.. :(
