it should say when you open the back of the tama. the last number should be a 3. I went to radio shack and they tested the battery. They said the battery was good, I turned the sound off and it's lasted for two days now. We'll see what happeneds next.

Wow that's quite interesting. I didn't think the lanyard made a difference. I'll keep the lanyard on but I won't wear it around my neck. Anybody else have this problem?

well a brand new battery shouldn't die 1-3 hours after putting it in, should it?

2 months? it should last for a good year. The tamas get all this cool new stuff but then you spend most of you're money buying the batteries.

it's going back to school. Certain dates are programed into the tama for thigns like that. The UK versions 1 were said to have some Japaness holidays on them like Kids Day. During December you'll probably see an x-mas tree for 20 of the 31 days.
