Another question! :D When your tama makes friends with another do they have to keep their friendship levels up by meeting or do they just stay the same?

Me and my friend keep trying to link our tamas and they can link and play but my tama always goes to hers and it always wins every game while hers always says fail. Does anyone know whats up?
