wny cant i visit my grandparents? ! im in my 8g and cant visit my grandparents?

im in my 7g and cant visit my grandparents all i get is my parent and that goes away quickly !! i mean on my 5g i didnt visit my tama parent @ all and it still went away what is happin :) why cant i visit my old folks?
