My tamagotchi just aged up to a child, I have gen 1 and its in good health and has 4 hears in happy and hungry, but it doesn’t lose hearts

Have you tried waiting 2-3 hours? It takes much longer to lose a heart as they grow compared to baby stage.

I’ve been waiting for 3 hours and it has lost 1 heart in the progress and gained some weight when I haven’t fed it that much since it hasn’t lost hearts, it’s gained literally 3 oz and was 11 oz when it grew

It should gain weight upon evolution. The minimum weight for Marutchi is 10oz, so it should have been at 10 when it evolved, then +1 for the time you just fed it.

And 3 hours for 1 heart sounds about right.
