Ell I did that and se said "well I'll refund you but don't bother sending it back because I hate tamagotchis there just stupid toys and I'll destroy it

That only means that the seller admits that the Tama they sent you is not working. They will give you your money back, but you can keep the item.

He/she will give you a refund so it's like you got that for free. Keep this V6 for your collection - and if you want one then just buy a new one.
