Tamagotch P1 and P2 toilet icon

I Was wondering if anybody could tell me why the tamagotchi P1 and 2 showed a duck as the toilet icon. What does a duck have to do with the bathroom or cleaning?

well... i believe a rubber ducky is what kids bring in the bathtub to play with. At least thats what i did when i was little xD

What derekq said. I thought the same thing when I got mine years ago. Then it dawned on me.

Some of the connections (v1-v5?) use a duck-styled potty in the baby and toddler stage, when you catch them before they make a mess. Never seen one like that in real life, but I believe there is a connection here.
