I just got a tamagotchi P's a week ago, but it's been dying before a day can even tick over. At first I used the rechargeable batteries in it that I use for my Meets/On devices and assumed I just grabbed some dead ones. But then putting in fully charged ones still died by the next morning. So I switched to some generic AAAs I had lying around, and it still died within 24 hours. So I went and got some duracell optimum's and it died after a day and a half. There's no WAY that's normal! Anyone have any ideas? I know the capacitors can die from age, but the screen isn't yellow or flickering as what I've seen online is typical of that issue. I can replace the capacitor anyways, but I figured I'd try asking around before opening up the device in case there's some more stuff I should try.
