Yesterday, all students at the school I go to receved a letter. In the letter, was a list of items banned from the school. The items included cellphones, iPods and other Mp3 players, cameras, ect. On the bottom of the list was: Tamagotchies and other virtual pets What are your thoughts on this?

I don't play w/ my tamagotchis during shcool, I use them at break.

my school has posters remiding you that ipods and cell phones are not aloud. i don't know if they are banned, but the teachers will definitly take them away.

i think im the only one at my school who even brings their's to school (exept for a couple of my friends) :furawatchi:

last year at the end of school, my teacher let us bring our tamagotchis, but this year we're not aallowed to (different teacher)

i think it sounds really stupid to ban tana ( and other electrioncs) from school .

what the should do is MAKE you keep them in your locker until break. thats what i do

We're allowed to bring em but most teachers will take em away

Mt school banned all elctronics.
Then you can't use calculators? I don't really care if Tama's are banned or not, because my Tama ran out of batteries. XP

We arn't allowed tamas at our school. (I can't bring mine, I keep thinking I'll get caught or it'll get stolen.) I wish we could have a Tamagotchi Day, you know a fundraiser thing where you bring $1 for every tama you bring to school. Cos there's heaps of people with tamas right?

I'm homeschooled, and my laptop is my teacher, so my teacher doesn't care! (Thankfully, laptops don't have eyes... yet :p ) :p

That happened at my school 2 years ago. Only people in year 6 were allowed them. I am in year 6 now..

My teacher just does not care i don't know why people in my school even use them not during recess or in the middle of lunch weird! X6

*sigh*....tamagotchis are banned unfortunatly and have been for a few weeks now. I got a letter like yours sayin that Ipods, Cellphones, MP3 Players, Tamagotchis, and other electronics are banned.

Nobody brings Tamagotchi to my school anymore (the fad died out last year and hasn't come back yet... nooooooooooo....) so therefore Tamagotchi aren't banned. Yet, the teacher doesn't want anything disruptive in class. Also, if you bring Tamagotchi to school people say, "OH MY GOD YOU STILL LIKE TAMAGOTCHIS? THEY ARE STUPID!" Funnily enough, I have nothing against this. I have learned to put up with it. THAT is the ONLY ANNOYING THING that I CAN put up with. I can't put up with most other things (like people telling me to get a life).

The year 3s at my school ALL seem to have Tamagotchi. Yet, I think they don't want one (they feed it really badly). There's probably only four people at my school who really care for Tamagotchi (my best friend, a year 3 girl, a friend of mine in year 6 and me)... shocking...

MY V1 TAMA BEEPED JUST THEN. POST MESSAGE, ATTEND TO TAMA.

the same thing happened at my school. kids were putting their tamas in their desks. i would only use them at recess. the attention icon would beep in their desk and that was the end of that.

Your'e allowed to bring them to my school, and most teachers don't mind. All I do is check on them periodically, and then at lunch I play bump or something. B)
