I got mail and a tamagotchi came down and it had a sack over it's back and then it stole my gotchipoints!

 
This has happend to me twice. i personally think this is the worst added feature in v4. :D

 
That's normal. He's a thief and comes around to steal your points :D My friend says he gets him all the time, so it's not uncommon. But it happens, sadly...

Yeah, it's unique, and it kinda balances out because the king can also reward you with gotchi points, when the burglar takes them. ^_^

 
Also the fact that you can get more points on V4 even though it's a bit harder to get them. ^_^

 
this is normal, a burgular will come down and steel your points, but the king will also give you points back. The better fortune cookies you get(3 stars), the less this will happen.

 
omg!! i just got mines and i dunt wana loose my points. will it take all of them???

It depends how many points it has. Mine had a good 4-5,000gp, give or take a few points and the most it ever took from me was 700gp.

But anyway, it should not take all your points. That would be mean. ;)

 
I really doubt it would take all of them. The creators wouldn't allow it, because we worked for our points! Lol. ;)

Mines has a good 15,000 and i dont want it taken away.. but its easy to get back. just go to tamatown for v4 ;)

 
If you have 15,000 points, the most it will take is between 4,000-7,000 points. To earn them back, go to tamatown. On the ring toss game always go for the big point bag. It will give you 300 points. In one seccion, you can earn up to 9,999. Wahoo!! ;) :D ;)

I deffintely agree I WAS FINNALY!!!! getting how to play the games and then my mail flashed sense i had no idea about this it took all my tamagatchi points!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

 
it can take 4000 if you have 15000???!!! geez.... when the burglar came and got out 2000 points it was a hard emotional hit on me, i was like: ''OMGODNESS, my hard earned points!! *sob*'' adding that for me its reaally hard to get points... yes, the feature is somewhat like a new feature, but i dont really like it

 
I guess it is unfair because we all work hard to earn our Gotchi Points and all it needs is a letter in the mail containing a burglar and we loose it all. :)
