ok thanks!

So if I have to stop playing for a few weeks/months,

it will be better to just take out the batteries?

It probably would be better to take out the batteries because you can still resume where you left off when you're ready. When leaving batteries in for a long period of time, especially without actually using a Tamagotchi and having it on pause, you run the risk of corrosion. The batteries will run out anyway, just from maintaining the pause screen.

thanks!

I currently have a Mametchi,

I read on another forum for his happy symbols,

and it seems like the 4th item to get this

happy symbol is via a download item.

Is that true?

thanks! :)

The fourth happy item (if you go into the menu and stats screen, it's the last one, the red stamp) is always earned 48 hours after your character becomes an adult. The other 3 can be earned using certain built-in items or eating certain built-in foods and each character has a designated set of 3. The downloads, if you have the means to get them, are merely extra items that can be used to obtain a happy stamp (any stamp but the fourth one). You don't need them to ultimately obtain all 4 happy seals. I'm not sure if certain download items get you certain colored seals; I think no matter how many or what download items you use, it only allows you to get one happy stamp. I hope this makes sense. I haven't done much experimenting with the downloads to be completely sure because I just use whatever is built-in and designated as the happy items of the particular character.

thanks OST!

However, I've only managed to find (from other forums)

the 3 happy symbols, 1) crown, 2) cake thing from bakery, 3) plant toy,

I don't know what the 4th one is!

I hope the 4th one doesn't require a download item as I don't

have the means to download items! ><

I got all 4 stamps for my previous tama, Lavulitchi, and all 4 were from

built in items.

hehe, thanks for all the advice! :)

AHHH!!! I get it now.

I thought every character has to get 4 items for 4 happy symbols!

Thanks so much!!

Just a note, all characters have built in happy symbols, but they can receive happy symbols from download items too.

thanks!

My tama went to the park and got a visit from the green triplets,

they gave something to my tama, it looks like a littie bag

with a green face on it.

What is it;s function?

thanks!

If you visit Donut Park between 10 and 3 on the first of every month, you'll meet the EcoUsatchi triplets you mentioned. After helping them clean up the park, they gift you one of three Eco items. The Eco items give you discounts to items or food from certain built-in locations. The one that you got, the Eco-Bag, will give you a 50% discount off anything at Tama Depa (the best one, in my opinion...some of the things there are pricey!). The other two Eco items are the yellow Eco-Fork (which gives you a 50% discount off snacks at Tama Café) and the green Eco-Chopsticks (which gives you a 50% discount off meals at the Restaurant). These Eco items are stored under the third option once you select the Treasure Chest icon.

I believe it's the fourth option that the items are stored under. ^_^ But good explanation, OST!

wow! thanks for the explanations!

Will my current tama have that Eco-bag until I get another character?

Or will I always have it through the generations?

It's just like any other item you purchase for your stores; once you collect it, you'll have it through the generations (unless you do a hard reset, of course).

to use Henshin Jo, the characters need download items to be able to transform?

Some of them do:

Kuchipatchi + Dinosaur Hat = Patchizaurusu

Gozarutchi + Warrior Helmet = Musha Gozarutchi

Memetchi + Devil Helmet = Devil Memetchi

Makiko + Dark Dress = Jigoku Queen

Furawatchi + Broom = Majokko Furawa

Credit goes to binary for providing this information. I'm simply re-posting.

The other characters don't need download items, however;

Mametchi, Kuromametchi, Kikitchi, Lovelitchi, Meloditchi, Moriritchi, Chamametchi, and Uwasatchi ALL have Henshin Jo costumes that are built in to the Tama.

(Credit to Binary, again ;) )
