Getting a child character is 50% random, but I got a Mohitamatchi this generation and treated it horribly. I gave it time out for nothing, almost never fed him and left his poop out for awhile. Good luck!

Exactly, and then when you save up enough you can keep on setting the time to 2:59 and waiting a minuite. Then, the shop will be restocked. If you'd like, you can repeat that procress over and over until it restocks. Good luck!

If you do it reguarly, no, you probably wouldn't get a Mametchi. But if you only do it a couple of times, you should have no problem. Just remember, don't fatten him/her too much!
