Yeah, as with a lot crap like this, it's a bit unfair, but unfortunately just the way it is. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt Bandai would waste the time and effort to collect millions of these little things from people just to fix something that trivial. I don't know what the V1 is like...

Err, it's mostly obvious, i'm sure you've figured it out by now, but if not, there are 3 circles at the top of the screen which correspond to the 3 buttons (A, B and C) on the tamagotchi. They will randomly "light up", turning black, after 2 have "lit up" get ready to press the one that hasn't...

You press B....and you have to be an adult to use it, as with almost all of the items. If you press B, and nothing happens except getting a fairly obvious sound that means you can't use it, then...you can't use it yet. =P

Hahaha, yeah, just last night I bought a pizza, when i thought it was ball, albeit an odd looking one. Although, I could have sworn I saw a list of what each tamagotchi liked as treats, which had pictures, and the pizza was a slice, not a fully round one.. o_O

Uh, from what I read, Connection is North American, and Connextion is European...so depending on where you live might help =P. If you're thinking of V1 and V2, then definitely get V2.

You use time-out when it beeps and it just looks like it normally does, and has most or all of its needs fulfilled. You praise it when it beeps and it's crying, it could be different for each tamagotchi, but each time for me, it was crying. Yeah, I just got my young Memetchi, and it woke me up...

Well, after all the snacks and many toothaches, I ended up with the Young Memetchi (not Mimitchi) which is one of the "good" characters, right?
