I'm also not 100% sure about the Music Stars either, but I know that with some Tamas, tampering with the time (perhaps when you had the battery problem) can affect the growth process and it can mess with when the Matchmaker will actually come. Usually I'd suggest to be patient as it should...

I managed to get my Connexion Version 1 up to 99 generations... The counter stopped ticking over so I have no idea how many actual generations it passed. But it was over 99. Yes. I am a nerd. :P

I agree with Amat Gotchi, as a Tamagotchi fan, I'm sure you'll always find yourself returning to your beloved Tamas. Maybe you just need a break. Or perhaps consider looking at a different version.

The MatchMaker will come after a certain time frame. As Jzwolf530 said, if you have paused it or changed the time, this can often affect the time the MatchMaker will arrive. But rest assured, she will come eventually. :)
