How do I let my tama play with the ipod I bought it? And like the skateboard the cd and golden tamagotchi. (Sorry if I seem stupid) I am new to this

It wont play games. When I try it frowns. So I decided to give it medicine but it just frowns. I diciplined/praised it and it did nothing. The Attention icon is NOT highlighted. But otherwise its just Dancing,and tweedleboppin around ;)
