I got my first in 1997. It was a blue P1 with a purple border around the screen and yellow buttons. I love how simple they were back then. ^_^ I was so obsessed with my first and I even cried the first time it died because I thought I did something wrong, LOL! :D

My 1997 Tamagotchis definitely have a lag compared to all the newer ones (except maybe the Music Star). It's definitely a little frustrating, especially at first, but you do get used to it after a while. :)

I think the best deals I've gotten are my TMGC+C and my Angel. Both were used but in great condition. My TMGC+C was $42, and my Angel (US version) was $21. ^_^

I've wanted an Angel for ages and I recently got a used one (white/silver American version) on eBay for $21. Did I get a good deal on this? How much do used ones usually go for?
