maybe the darker color is because your tamagotchi need to be cleaned. give it a bath by selecting "bath" under the toilet icon. if this isn't the problem, then i'm not sure. sorry!

from my experience with the app, it does take quite some time for a tamagotchi to fully evolve. it's definitely normal behavior. :)

i was able to use a small pair of safety scissors for children to unscrew my tama-go, but it did take awhile. your best bet is to go to a jeweler, though.

my tama-go did the same thing. the easter bunny is gone now, however. it was a bit irritating.
