It's interesting to read that most requests are a variation of vintage model like Tamagotchi Connection. I'm playing with them since 2004 (with some pause of course) and they're still enjoyable, pretty fun, basic tamagotchi. I like Tamagotchi Friends as well, but from V1 till V6 are still...

It's very hard to remove the faceplate, but i've dove mine with minimum scratches... You can do it with a screwdriver, very small, just put it down the cenral hole button and pull out gently. This is mine after the hard work :) <blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en"...

My TMGC Friend Dream Town (Terupotchi, 2G) won't grow fat. She's still 5LB. Did the same thing happen to you too? Update 9.11, 6pm: weight is normal now!

looks like storage scratches, there are a couple too on the screen...

It's difficoult to take pictures... scratches are all around the edges at the back. Cheap plastic like the previous model, i guess... it's sad because old tamas are made of really durable plastic (this type of plastic looks like the TGMC+C and Tama-Go shell, very bad.

My TMGC Friends Dream Town has scratches alla around his egg shell, is this normal? I never noticed when I took it from the box, but i brought it twice with me to work in my bag. Plastic looks cheap again on this too :(

I think that Tamagotchi Friends were a missing opportunity to revamp the craze. A mix with old and new technology could attract a new audience if well used. Look at Furby 2012! It was a success because the new app feature.
