I do not think it is true because I have had 5 furawatchis and 3 chohimetchis which I had on separate generations. I hope this helped. At the moment I have pochitchi, a u-fochi and a toratchi.

Press the middle botton so you get to the part that tells you the time. Then press and hold botton A and then still holding it press botton B. After that you can keep moving along by pressing botton B until you get to the part of the time that you want ot change.
