Oh, alright. But why does a Nazotchi show up on my v2 instead of a Young Mametchi?

I have a v2(Zukitchi) and a v3(Young Mametchi)...and like, I connected them, then looked on both of their friend's list and it doesn't show their correct characters. On both, it shows them as Nazotchis. Are there no Zukitchis on a v3? There are Young Mametchis on v2s, but why doesn't it show up...
