Tosakatchigal, just so you know, Mametchi's mum is called Mamametchi.
And there are too many characters to make a poll. I remember someone said they counted the characters on the character page on the Japanese website and there were 71 (including "guest" characters such as Repotchi/Reportchi). So add in the special characters (Iwatchi, Hoshitchi, Mikazukitchi, Sanitchi and Puranetchi) and you have about 76... and with only about 26 or however many poll options you're allowed to make it might be a tiny bit hard to fit them all in!
Well, I don't have any big favourites when it comes to Tamagotchi, so here's a list of characters I like.
Mamafurawatchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, Chibipatchi, Furawatchi, Hatsugatchi, Mumutchi, Puchioyatchi (both genders), Sakuramotchi, Korokotchi, Ichigotchi and Onputchi.
