1997 Tamagotchi Questions

So I recently got a 1997 tamagotchi from a friend of mine, and I noticed the buttons are annoyingly slow. Here's my question. Is it just mine that does this, or do they all do it? I had a 1996 tama way back when, but I don't remember anything about it other than it's color ^.^'

Also, is there a matchmaker in the 1997 tama, or any way to make new generations? I don't really remember much of anything about the older versions so any help/advice is welcome and needed. n.n

yup thats right and i dont think it was slow at all. maybe its just yours .

It's a while since I've read thru' the info, but have you visited Mimitchi.com and PixelMood recently? Perhaps there might be something in one of these two sites that would be useful.... might be worth having a quick 'mooch' around the sites anyway...
