1st N 2nd wave music star

Hey guys, what is the main diffference between the 1st and 2nd wave music stars? and they say you can debug the 2nd wave but not 1st wave? is that true?

And btw, you know that 1st wave are supposed to leave half the money, i became REALLy confused coz on generation one, the tama left half, but on 2nd gen onwards, it took All the money... *

I just like to know also, can anyone provide us with a full list of 1st AND 2nd releases? like what design and stuff.

I don't believe there is any real difference between the programming of the first and second wave Music Stars. However, I only own a first wave Music Star, so I wouldn't know if the second wave designs are debuggable, have a different point setup or have a different date set up.

There were only ever two waves released in the US (three waves in Asia/Oceania). You can find the designs here: https://www.bandai-asia.com/newsite/product...MAGOTCHI&sid=21. "COLOR 1" and "COLOR 3" were released in the US. These two and "COLOR 2" were released in Asia/Oceania. The other designs you posted were the first wave UK release. I believe their second wave release was the "COLOR 2" Asia/Oceanian designs.

Finally, the Pink Glitter Music star is an Argo's exclusive, but like all Tamagotchi's, you can buy it online (if somebody decides to sell one). :furawatchi:

I'm pretty sure that the first wave leaves half the money, second wave takes all the money. I'm not sure what's going on with yours since yours leaves half in the first generation but takes all of it in the subsequent generations? That's interesting. I've never debugged, but there's a pretty big topic about it here: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=156214. The way I tell the difference between the two by design is that I ignore the design completely and look at the top: if it just says "Tamagotchi," it's the first wave and if it says "Tamagotchi" AND "Music Star" right underneath, it's the second wave.

I still dont really get it, cause my tama (red guitar) left the baby without ANY money, and it ONLY says : "Tamagotchi". ... :s
