Umm, hi! My 1997 Tamagotchi Tamatchi isn't sleeping yet and it's past 8:00PM... what should I do? Please could someone help me? Thanks.

Is it an adult? I don't have a vintage, but I know they tend to stay up later if they're adults

Different adult characters have varying sleep times. Some go to bed as early as 8 PM while others at 10 PM.

When your Tamagotchi turns into a adult, some of them change their sleep times, depending on what character you have.

Tamatchi is a teen character, and stays up untill 9 PM. Also note that different characters have different sleep and wake up times.
