Animation?

I really want to get into animation, & I was wondering if you guys could recommend any good animation programs? I'm looking for one that is easy to use & produces good quality animations. :]

Yeah, I'm in the middle of a Google search already.

I've found things called 'Macromedia Flash' & 'Toon Boom', but I'm sure how good they are, so I want to here some opinions & recommendations.
