As I lie here alone

Head on the ground

Even the turn of the earth

Makes a terrible sound

 

Summer just burns me

Winter's too cold

I'm young and so nervous

But I'll never grow old

 

People just scare me

Even at home

But what makes me scared

Is being alone

 

I tell my friends to be truthful

Then I tell them a lie

I say that I care about someone

Who I wish would die

 

Everything I think of

Is not what I mean

And that is why I am so

Alone and not seen

 

The silence is nothing

Because I can hear sounds

The shuffling and scuffling

Of the rats underground

i think its okaay.
