Well, in order for that to happen, Tamagotchi would have to use more expensive LCD screens, like those in a cell phone or something. Of course, higher quality LCD = mo' momo fo' da tama.

Well, you would have to go to tamagotchi.com to find the real information. Or, simply e-mail BanDai about it. If it is going to have a colored screen, then I am so going to love it! I'm still going to love my old black and white tamagotchis if so <_<

I dont think so because of battery life and the screens would cost more. But also, i really wouldnt want them to because it would take away from the cute pixelated animations, and it would look more generic and ick
