I found TamaTown was a quick way to get money when you played the flying disc game and I'd just kinda farm that. It's more upsetting as it was such a strong nostalgic thing to me and taken away, also without any discussion (I know Bandai wouldn't contact everyone who had used it ever to see if they minded closing it down but like you know what I mean) But even the little things like how when you would go to either the mall or game center etc it would slowly and painfully zoom in, how most times sometimes the little bus ride loading screen seemed as though you traveled to the other side of the world, like... it took ages. And the first screen when you enter, looking over the town and it had little moving characters. AND THE MUSIC like woaw, to this day it is my jam and it will make memories come flooding back and then I always think of the noise when you win something or found some trash like the brochure and the noise made it like 'OMG WOAH LOOK WHAT YOU FOUND how interesting oooOOOo." But like it was the most insignificant thing and after that first time you ever clicked on that brochure you never did again because you remembered how it was so pointless and it waisted those 2 seconds of your precious life but I love that.
Honestly if they said that they'd only bring it back if people would pay then I would be the first person to get a membership like hands down.
But yeah, I've used the entama warehouse and it's handy but it doesn't feel the same. I also never had the chance to use the V5, V6 and tama-go tamatown's as I didn't have those versions when they were up and from the sounds of it I missed out on the V6 apartment or whatever it is.
Edit: I don't like the TF one + I hope I'm not the only one who misses it but it feels that way atm.
