The word 'BOT is normally used as a short name for a robot. It has become a more common word since the internet developed.

For example, some web sites/chat rooms have automatic language filters that detect bad behaviour or language - they are called Mod Bots - (Moderator Robots...)

We don't have Mod Bots on TamaTalk - humans are still by far more effective
