You can win bump in so many different ways. The first I recommend is to find your button. The insctructions say to play with the ''B'' button but you can play with any button. First find if the ''A'' or '' B'' or the ''C'' button is for you. For example I have 7 tamagotchis and they all play differently.
The second thing I recommend is that a the beging of the game they look at the screen or open their mouths,so when they look at the screen or open their mouth press your button and then just go with the rythem.
