hi, yeah the matchmaker arrives (with a bleep!) and you can press B. Then she shows you a random adult tama character (it won't be a friend) and asks 'Lonely?' Yes/No. If you choose yes then the mate appears on the screen for a second, there are some fireworks , and the mate disappears and a baby appears on the screen!
So it doesn't matter if your tama has no friends - actually, all of mine have had babies through the matchmaker, it's only now I've got 2 tams that I can try and get them to have babies with friends!
