HOW DO YOU SHUT OFF TAMAGOTCHI BUT SAVE ALL SETTINGS?

you can pause it by pressing and holding the A button and then pressing the B button.

Well if you still have your tab from the very beginning you can put the tab back in. That's what i do sometimes.

Then if you're lucky if you pull out the tab very quickly the screen still stays blank, if it does don't squeeze your tamagotchi or the battery will connect again. If this doesn't work then just leave you tab in.

When you want to play again, just pull out the tab and press resume. That should work, it does with me!

you can download when you want to turn it back on.

pausing is VERY brutal on the battery.

You can not shut off a tamagotchi but you can pause it by pressing A and B at the same time.

well, pausing and taking the battery out are basically the only ways,

however, some people say that if you keep the tab then you can push it back in.

ive never tried that and i dont really think i want to that much.

In fact, I do have a solution to it gotchi1994. Just put it to sleep. But tamagotchis only sleep up to 11-12 hours if you put it to sleep at it's exact bedtime. Or you could put the tab in and when you want it back pull it out, press b button and select download!

I tried shutting one of my tamas off by putting the tab back in once.

The tab scatched the battery.

I tried taking the battery out on one of my tamagotchis once.

It wouldn't work again until I got totally new ones.

Don't do those things, OK?

Take out the batterie and when you put it back in, download it.
