Can the love potion work with a V.1?

My neighbor and I are trying to mate our tamagotchis together. Her's is a V.1, and mine is a V.3. Will the love potion work?

i don't think it will, i never got to try it since my friend stole my V.1

It shouldn't work. The love potion was introduced in V2 or V3. The V1 has no love potion in it's memory, so it does not know what to do with it. It's kind of like when if you connect a V1 and a V2 often Nazotchi appears because the V1 does not have some of the V2 characters.

Yes. That happens a lot when we connect our tamas. Well, I guess there's no harm in trying, but if it doesn't work, then I guess we'll have to do it the old fashioned way.

Just keep on connecting them until their friendship meter reaches "Partner".
