Can't name my V5 tama characters?

So I got a new tama, right? A v5. but when they hatched, I couldn't name them....why is this?? :'(

I couldn't either. I assumed you could only give them their family name.~

Yeah, because the V5 already gives you the names of each character you have. You can only name their family name, and be sure you like it, because you cannot change it again unless you reset it.

You cant really name them unless you do what this other person did: Name them in your head, not in your Tama... If you get what I mean... Ex. Im naming them Jack, Jill, and Mary... But I cant put the names in the tama so I have to keep track of them in my head...

Maybe I made it more confusing... But name them in your head if you wanna...
