How do I get more characters on my tama-go? If I can't then why is there that little egg thing with the number of characters I have?

Those are the Gotchi Figures you have put on your Tama-Go.

As Oranda said, that is the number of Gotchi Figures you have put onto your Tama-Go. The more you put on, the more the number will be.

No, it just counts the number of ones you put through the whole time

To clarify, you can only have one figure on at a time; however, the Tama-go keeps count of how many figures you have put on for ALL TIME.

So, let's say that you get your Tama-go, the lite figure, and one extra figure. After you put both on, the count will be at two. Then, two months later you get another figure and attach it; the count will go up to three. Does that make sense?
