when u buy the chest and u get an item press reset button at back (before the item disappears) press and download. Check items and the chest will be there reset again and download and the item and chest will be there!!

Personally, I prefer the one-off random chance style, as I find that more fun and more interesting when you come across a chest. But that's only my opinion, and I am sure there are lots of members on TamaTalk who will really appreciate your contribution to the forums. Thanks!
