Connection visitation question.

My wife and I are playing together in order to make a new generation. Our tamagotchis will play games together like they are supposed to, but only hers comes over to my screen to leave gifts. She is becoming upset that mine never comes over to her with gifts. Is there a way to make that happen or is it just totally random?

I wrapped a gift, but never receive an option to give it to her.

One other thing that seems odd is that these are version twos, but in order to connect we have to choose version one. Does anybody know why that is?

If you want it to come to her house then press present

then when the stand bye thing comes up press it twice on hers and don't touch the other one

I was also able to choose version two this time, though I am not sure why that did not work the last time.

Now I am can once again live in a tranquil home without ugly jealousy looming overhead.
