Connection?

I have a six year old V3 tama, and I bought my friend a tama connection.

Whenever I try to connect, I choose the option V.3, and they say standby, but they don't connect! I'm not sure I'm doing it right, but I dunno.

Do u press 'B' when it says '[SIZE=7pt]STANDBY[/SIZE]''? That is wat u do or does it say '[SIZE=7pt]FAIL[/SIZE]'?
