"Debug" is a sort of factory test mode. Generally, it allows you to select whichever character you want, and run it at super-fast speed. However in this mode some functions do not work at all, or do not work as they normally would.

Some models can not be debugged.

Some models can be debugged by rubbing a regular pencil tip between two semicircles on the circuit board in the battery compartment.

To place a V5 into debug mode it's necessary to disassemble it completely, and make a circuit board modification under the display panel.

We don't recommend anyone to even attempt debug. Doing so may completely wreck your toy.
