Hi,

I have read a lot of topics on debugging but what is it about?

Can anyone answer any of these questions please?

How do you debug?

What is it for?

What does it do to your tama?

How long does the change last?

And any oither helpful info would be great

thx

Debugging is for getting any characters you want for your tamagotchi, but I highly recommend that you don't debug because it can permently damage your tamagotchi.

Here is a site where you can learn how to debug your tamagotchi: https://www.pixelmood.com/tamagotchi_connection_debugging.htm

The change lasts forever, unless you unbug your tamagotchi where I believe you just erase the led of the spot that you rub the pencil led on.

Debugging was apparently something that Bandai tested out the characters and stuff with and didn't plan to have the consumers find out about (but we did). If you're interested in getting all the different characters, including the ones used in testing, and/or hyperspeeding your Tama, you might try debugging. But think about it long and hard first, because it's a very risky procedure.
