Just found this out today looking on the Japanese Tamagotchi site... there are apparantly applications that have just been released that emulate old Japanese tamagotchis including the following:

-generation 1

-generation 2

-angelgotchi

-devirutchi

-umino

-morino

-santaclautch

I just got a prepaid phone in Japan which apparantly can't use the web services so I'm going to try and see if I can get these applications put on my phone at a softbank service center here in Japan.

I had reported on this earlier, except Umino wasn't available at that time.

Still nice to know this, though. Hopefully we get Osutchi and Mesutchi with Wi-Fi capabilities. Probably not, but one can dream...

EDIT I forgot to note that US and Europe already has G1, Angelgotchi, and an exclusive to mobiles, the Soccer G1. Hopefully, we get releases of Santaclautchi, Devilgotchi, Morino, and Umino in US and Europe. Probably not on the first three as they were never released in US/European territories, but if we do get any of those, the mobile I'll be getting soon would be complete.
