Well, You know about Andres.

Anyway, there's one teensy problem.

Mother hates him.

Father hates boys in general.

My mom, she heard things about him that aren't true.

Maybe they are, but, of course, I could care less.

She actually heard less than I did.

So problem one.

The other thing is, Rumors start so easily.

Only Jose knows we're together.

I don't mind that.

It's just hard to get around everyone.

Like, they're always watching, because they've heard rumors.

So, Summer is here.

We text constantly.

I mean, non stop. I fill up my inbox, four times daily.

And don't get me wrong, I'm so happy with him.

I just won't see him that much over the Summer.

We have Cross Country on Mondays and Thursdays.

But there, everyone is watching us.

Because I'm the only girl in my group of friends.

To see if there's anything going on.

Gossip.

So, hard.

Then there's the festival.

We're both working it.

But even then, people.

There's no way to spend time alone.

And the one chance i've got, a movie invite.

My dad is against it.

Because, no surprise, It was Alafia who invited me.

My dad is racist.

Terribly, Terribly racist.

It's so stupid.

So, I must ask, do you guys have any ideas how to get around them?

My mom doesn't know him, but hates him.

My dad doesn't care, just doesn't like guys.

And people don't shut up.

The advice I may give out is terrible and suckish.. but I'll say it anyways. What if you were to get someone else to ask you to go the movies, or say something like Alafia recently canceled his/hers? invitation to the movie theater? Or you can always talk about how you never go out, just let him know how boring your life can be. Because this is your first time invite to the theaters, and you can't go? ._.
